The price of Fisherman’s Bastion tickets is very favourable (especially compared to the

breathtaking panorama you get to see from the top). If you are happy to take in the views over the river Danube in Budapest on the lower terraces (as seen in the photo), you will not have to pay for the entry and will save on the minimal admission fee.

Unfortunately, Budapest Card currently does not support the Fisherman’s Bastion entry with a discount to the upper turrets where you can get the best views from, but you can still get some discount in the restaurant on Fisherman’s Bastion renting a part of the attraction. The Budapest Card provides a 10-20% discount from certain foods and drinks (please kindly check with the restaurant what the current discount options are).

Why we suggest booking your Budapest Card in advance? So that you can pick it up at the airport and pre-book your Budapest city centre shuttle transfer from the Airport. If you buy the 72h Plus Budapest Card or the Budapest Tourist Pass, you will also get the airport transfer to the city centre of Budapest and back to the airport (return ride included in the 72 hour PLUS version, which is an upgraded version of the plain 72 hour version).
