Parking a car in the Castle Hill District is a huge challenge. Please use the public transport or use one of the car parks at the foot of the hill. Temporary drop off is allowed for taxis and private cars on Szentharomsag ter without obstructing the traffic flow. For instance, taxis can transport hotel guests in the open street by Castle Hotel Hilton or in the underground parking house of the hotel where parking fees apply (there is no free parking in the Buda Castle District).

Please note that the high prices of parking rates reflect the municipality’s efforts to limit car traffic in the Castle District to preserve its historic heritage sites and to improve the air quality.
